The Chestnut is a one-bedroom, one-bath cottage that can’t be missed and not just because of its amazing interior and elegant amenities and style.

The Back Deck
The wooded view is the perfect backdrop to your intimate covered back deck (you can enjoy it no matter the weather) that features a hot tub, gas grill, and dining table and chairs.
Bedroom
Step into your bedroom that’s complete with a king size bed with a Sleep Number mattress. This mattress assures that no matter how soft or firm you prefer your mattress, you can adjust your side of the bed to fit your comfort perfectly. We also have a ceiling fan that you can run to keep you cool at night. The alarm clock doubles as a Bluetooth speaker and a USB phone charging port as well. Watching TV is not a problem with our wall mounted TV and to keep cool at night while you sleep, we've got you covered with a ceiling fan over the bed.
The Bathroom
There are surprising amenities awaiting you in the bathroom. First of all, we have heated tile floors to keep your toes warm in the cool Asheville evenings and mornings. We also have a heated towel rack to keep your towel warm for you for when you get out of the shower. To carry the "heated" theme one more step, we also added a heated toilet seat that I believe you will find to be magical (you'll understand what I mean when you stay here).
The Kitchen
In the kitchen, cooking is a snap since we provide high-quality cookware and most of the basic spices you would need. If you are cooking in the Chestnut, we provide you with most of the basic spices, aluminum foil, Ziploc bags and plastic containers for your leftovers.
The Living Room
Retreating to the living room you will find a gas fireplace, super comfortable sofa and a relaxing La-Z-Boy recliner. The Large TV receives more than 210 channels along with premium movie channels.
Though we think you’ll be content to just savor the time spent in your cottage, we are only a few miles away from great activities and attractions in Asheville, like fantastic dining or the stunning scenic drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway.
The Chestnut is VERY private!
The Chestnut and Poplar are town-home style cottages that are actually two distinct buildings connected by a single roof. This assures that there is no noise transfer from one cottage to the other. The back decks and bedrooms are on opposite sides of the buildings to ensure you the most private vacation possible.
