What time is check-in?
Check-in time begins at 4:00 p.m.
What time is check-out?
Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. for all two and three bedroom cottages and 11:00 a.m. for all one bedroom cottages
How will my credit card be charged?
50% of your total is due at time of reservation.
The balance will be charged to your credit card 14 days before you arrive.
What is the cancellation policy?
Marshall and I understand that plans sometimes change and you may need to cancel your stay. If you find this to be the case, please let us know as early as possible so that your days may be booked by others.
We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance from us. This will allow you to cancel your stay (for a covered reason) up to 24 hours before you arrive and receive all of your money back.
All cancellations without insurance will be charged an $65 processing fee.
You have until 14 days before your check-in date to cancel your reservation and the amount you paid (minus the $65 processing fee) will be refunded back to your card.
Unfortunately, if you have to cancel within 14 days of your check-in date, we will not be able to refund the charges or give you credit (unless we can re-book your cottage for the length of your stay).
Also, we will not be able to offer refunds for early departures. All changes must be made 14 days prior to your arrival. Thanks for understanding.
We cannot provide refunds for no call/no shows. We are a small property with only fourteen cottages and last minute cancellations affect us significantly.
We recommend that you purchase travel insurance to protect you from the unexpected.
Is there security deposit?
A damage deposit of $125 will be held on your credit card at the time of check-in and is fully refundable within 7 days from your check-out if no damage is attributed to your stay
Are pets allowed?
For the health and comfort of all our guests, we DO NOT allow any pets into the cottages.
If you would like information on a full-service kennel in the Asheville area, please contact us. If you have a disability and need a service dog, we would then GLADLY allow your pet. We honor all ADA requirements for service dogs.
Unfortunately, emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companion animals are NOT considered service animals under the ADA.
What is the smoking policy?
Smoking is not allowed in any area of the cottage, this includes the use of electronic cigarettes and smokeless tobacco.
However, you may smoke outside on your private balcony or patio as long as you keep the suite door closed.
What is the occupancy policy?
Please do not bring anymore occupants than you have paid for. Occupancy violations will result in a rent forfeiture and immediate eviction of all guest.
What do I need to bring?
We provide a fully equipped rental. You will find pots, pans, dishes, utensils, paper products, trash bags and light cleaning supplies for the kitchen. We have linens, towels, bath robes (for the master bedroom), You will also find a hair dryer, iron and ironing board and a full size washer and dryer. We have included some dish washing detergent, laundry detergent and dish soap so you do not have to worry about bringing those items. We do provide Gilchirst and Soames "BEE KIND" soap, shampoo and conditioner for you in each cottage. Unless specified, other amenities are not provided.
Is there a cleaning fee?
Yes. Having your cottage clean and looking new is our highest priority.
Your housekeeper will spend between 4 to 6 hours cleaning your cottage before you arrive.
Your cottage will be perfectly clean and sanitized when you arrive.
If you find this not to be the case even in the slightest way, please call the 24 hour number immediately and we will be right over to make it so.
Do you offer travel insurance?
We do offer in-house travel insurance with very favorabe terms.
If you purchase our travel insurance, you can cancel your reservation with us up to 24 hours before you arrive.
