Back Deck
The covered back deck has a la hot tub, barbecue gas grill and patio furniture for dining in the beautiful Asheville weather.
Living Room
The living room in the Poplar has a relaxing La-Z-Boy recliner and a comfortable La-Z-Boy sleeper sofa (it can be used for a 3rd and 4th guest if you would like). The fireplace turns on with a button to create a VERY romantic atmosphere. If you want to watch a movie or just TV in general, the flat screen TV gets more than 200 channels and premium movie channels as well.
The Bedroom
A king size bed awaits you in the bedroom. This bed has a Sleep Number mattress that allows you to adjust your side of the mattress to your level of comfort. We also have a TV mounted on the wall that you can watch from the bed and a Hunter brand ceiling fan over your bed to keep you cool in the evenings. The alarm clock in the bedroom doubles as a high-quality Bluetooth speaker and a USB phone charging port as well.
The Bathroom
In the bathroom of the Poplar are heated tile floors. These floors will amaze you in the cool mornings of Asheville. You will also find two soft robes to use when getting out of the hot tub, or just to wear around the cottage. To keep your towel warm when you get out of the shower, we have a heated towel warmer for your comfort. To keep with the heated theme, we added a heated toilet seat that is magical (you'll understand what I mean when you stay with us).
The Kitchen
Inside, you will find a full kitchen complete with heavy grade cookware and upgraded appliances. If you are going to cook, we provide your basic spices, aluminum foil, Ziploc bags and plastic storage containers to store your leftovers.
Plan on sightseeing in downtown Asheville or visiting the Biltmore Estate in a ten-minute drive. The Poplar is the perfect location to enjoy shopping at the Asheville Outlets, dining at local restaurants, or see The Blue Ridge Parkway just a few miles away.
The Poplar is VERY private!
The Poplar and Chestnut are town-home style cottages that are actually two distinct buildings connected by a single roof. This assures that there is no noise transfer from one cottage to the other. The back decks and bedrooms are on opposite sides of the buildings to ensure you the most private vacation possible.
