Cabin Description
Once inside the Aspen, you will be amazed at the attention to detail.
Like all our cabins near the Biltmore Estate, you find this to be an excellent choice for an Asheville mountain cabin.

The Bedroom
In the bedroom, there is a king size bed with a Sleep Number mattress that allows you to adjust the firmness of your mattress to your comfort. Marshall's sleep number is 70 and mine is 35. This mattress allows us to have the best night sleep possible. There is also a ceiling fan over the bed to keep you cool while you sleep. Watching TV while you are in bed is no problem with the TV that is mounted on the wall.
If you like a breeze blowing on you while you sleep we also have a ceiling fan over the bed.
The Back Deck
On the back deck, there is a 2 person hot tub, a grill and a table and chair set for you to enjoy dinner or dessert in the cool Asheville evenings.
The Living Room
This cottage fits two people perfectly but it does have a La-Z-Boy sleeper sofa if you wanted to bring four. The living room also has a La-Z-Boy recliner and a large flat screen TV that has premium movie channels and over 200 regular channels.
The Bathroom
The bathroom floor of the Aspen is heated and warm on your feet in the cool Asheville mornings. There is also a heated towel rack so you have a warm towel waiting for you after you shower. You will also find two soft bathrobes in the closet that you can use when you get out of the hot tub or just to wear around the cottage. As if the heated floors and heated towel rack were not enough, we also added a heated toilet seat that is magical (you'll understand what I mean when you stay with us).
The Kitchen
The Aspen has a full kitchen with high-quality appliances and cookware. Even the flatware is made of heavy grade steel. If you are going to cook with us, you will a good variety of spices available along with aluminum foil, Ziploc bags and plastic storage containers for any leftovers you may have.
After staying here, you will want to make Asheville Cottages your home every time you visit Asheville.
The Aspen is VERY private!
The Aspen and Dogwood are town-home style cottages that are actually two distinct buildings connected by a single roof. This assures that there is no noise transfer from one cottage to the other. The back decks and bedrooms are on opposite sides of the buildings to ensure you the most private vacation possible.
