A city’s downtown is a condensation of everything that city has to offer. Now, I’ve always believed Asheville is a city like none other. Where else can you go hiking through a temperate rainforest in the morning, then sortie downtown for eclectic entertainments at night? And I do mean eclectic. A single journey to Asheville’s beating heart should be enough to convince you of that. But aside from gawking at the local color, what else is there to do in downtown Asheville? Indee
