Asheville Urban Trail

Our Asheville cabins are located about 8 miles (15 minutes) from the starting point of this city walking tour.

If you don’t mind walking and it isn’t raining, this is quite an interesting tour of the city. This would take you close to two hours to complete if you walked it straight through. However, I think the best part of the tour is the shops, bakeries or restaurants along the way.

The tour basically talks about the history of Asheville and the people who made it what it is today.

There are 30 historical markers that you follow-each giving specific history about Asheville. Tracie and I made through about 15 of them until we decided to stop somewhere and eat. After eating we figured we had seen enough and headed home.
