White Horse Black Mountain

White Horse Black Mountain is a 200-seat music and arts venue in the heart of historic downtown Black Mountain.

We’re a very easy-going venue presenting a wide variety of great music; from jazz to blues, Celtic to world music, bluegrass to old time.

Theater, storytelling, poetry are puppetry are also on the eclectic menu. Owned and booked by Bob Hinkle (long time music vet and personal manager of The J. Geils Band, Harry Chapin,

Etta James, and more) White Horse is booked with the best available talent.

Located in the former, lovingly re-purposed, local Chevrolet dealership, the venue features a fine selection of local beers, wines from around the world, kombucha etc.

We have a great sound system, cabaret seating (tables & chairs), couches and wonderful bar.

An outside patio is available in warm weather.
